This page welcomes you to share your stories, thoughts and ideas and show your support for Tick That Box. Free speech is encouraged, however there are a few simple rules to ensure that our page is enjoyable, safe and open to everyone:

  • Be polite. It’s ok to disagree with others, but please do so respectfully.
  • We will remove posts, comments or links to information that is offensive, illegal, abusive, profane, or defamatory.
  • We have the right to delete posts, links or photos at our discretion, particularly those that are not relevant to the organisation, that may be offensive, or do not comply with these rules.
  • We have the right to reply to comments at our discretion, and reserve the right to correct any factual errors.
  • We do not allow advertisements, endorsements or spam of any commercial organisation to be posted on the page.

Charlotte’s Concierge Pty Ltd trustee for the Nickson Family Trust trading as Tick That Box ABN 62 733 059 451 is herein referred to ‘TTB’.

These terms and conditions govern the provision of services by TTB and the acquisition of those services by the client.  Acceptance of a quotation prepared by TTB shall be an acceptance of these terms and conditions, unless otherwise expressly agreed to by TTB in writing.

1. Interpretation & General

1.1 In these conditions:

  • The company or person engaging the services of TTB is herein referred to as the ‘client’.
  • The services being commissioned to TTB by the client is herein referred to as the ‘service’
  • The cost of this service by TTB for the client is herein referred to as the ‘fee’ and this fee is payable by the client to TTB
  • TTB has agreed to provide the Services in accordance with these conditions;

1.2 TTB shall be entitled to alter and vary these conditions from time to time on reasonable written notice to the Client without any liability to the Client.

2. Supply of the Services

2.1 TTB shall provide the Services to the Client subject to these conditions or such other conditions as may be agreed in writing between TTB and the Client.

2.2 The service permits the Client to request from TTB any information or suggestions in relation to any personal needs or desires of the Client (including events, activities, venues, goods and Services). TTB reserves the right to refuse to supply Services if, in the opinion of TTB, the Services are to be used by the Client for any illegal, immoral or unlawful purpose. TTB’s information and suggestions will be based upon the specific criteria provided to TTB by the Client and any reports provided are for research purposes only, no advice is provided or given. No liability will be accepted

2.3 All services will be provided with acceptable care and skill or technical knowledge and taking all reasonable steps to avoid loss and damage.

2.4 Services will be fit for purpose and give the results as agreed to by TTB and the client and will be delivered within a reasonable time when there is no agreed end date

2.5 Services are provided between the hours of 8am -6pm Monday through to Friday.

2.6 Tick That Box services are non-transferable

3. Fees

3.1 TTB will provide a Quotation for a specified Packaged Services prior to the commencement of works. 

3.2 Ongoing services will be provided to Clients at an hourly or package rate to be determined by the service and TTB.  These fees relate only to the provision of services by TTB only.

3.3 Fees are to be paid within 7 days of the date of the invoice by bank transfer, cash or cheque.  One reminder will be sent if the fees had not been paid by the due date and interest may be charged.

3.4 TTB reserves the right to charge Clients for travel time at 75c per kilometre for areas outside of the metro area.  Minimum charges may apply irrespective of location.

3.5 Services provided by a third party supplier will be charged separately to TTB Fees and all third party disbursements and expenses will be on-charged in addition to our quotation.

3.6 A surcharge of 20% will apply for services requested on weekends, after hours and public holidays.

3.7 The minimum fee charged for any individual service is the equivalent of one (1) hours fee.

3.8 TTB shall be entitled to vary the Fees from time to time with written notice to the Client. 

3.9 Interest shall accrue on outstanding monies at 10% per annum calculated daily.

3.10 We may in our discretion require a deposit of upto 50% of the quoted fee.  All deposits are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

4. Client’s Responsibilities

4.1 Services provided by TTB are provided expressly for the Clients and the Clients shall not use the Services for any improper, immoral, unlawful or any other purpose other than that for which the Client informs TTB at the time of the initial request.

4.2 The client acknowledges that TTB is acting solely in reliance on information and instructions given by the client to TTB.

5 Liability

5.1 TTB has public liability insurance to the amount of $10 million and professional indemnity to the amount of $1 million.

5.2 Except to the extent that liability cannot be excluded at law, TTB shall not be liable to the client for any loss, damage, costs or expenses suffered or incurred by the client attributable to any act or omission of TTB and its employees or agent.

5.3 Notwithstanding clause 5.2, if TTB is found liable to the client the maximum liability shall be a refund of the fees paid by the client to TTB.

5.4 TTB excludes any warranties, representations and guarantees unless expressly stated in these conditions.

6. Confidentiality

6.1  At no time shall TTB either during the service or thereafter, except in the course of their duties, divulge any of the confidential affairs of the clients or any of its clients or associated companies to anyone whatsoever without the prior consent of the client.

7. Cancellation

7.1 In addition to clause 3.10, any service that is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, shall be charged a minimum of one hour service fee.

8. Complaints

8.1  Any complaints should be received in writing within 7 days from the date of the service and a response will be sent as soon as reasonably practical.

9. Disputes

9.1 If a dispute arises concerning these Terms and Conditions, that dispute must first be referred for mediation in accordance with the Australian Commercial Disputes Centre Mediation Guidelines.

The proper law of all contracts arising between TTB and the client is the law of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.  In the event that mediation fails, the parties agree that all claims and disputes relating to the provision of services under these Terms and Condition shall be determined in the court of competent jurisdiction nearest the City of Perth, Australia. 

10. General

10.1 These conditions (together with any other terms and conditions agreed in writing between TTB and the Clients) constitute the entire Agreement between the parties.

10.2 Any notice required or permitted to be given by either party to the other under these conditions shall be in writing addressed to the other party at its registered office or principal place of business or residential address. Any notice may be sent by facsimile transmission or email and notice shall be deemed to have been served on the expiry of 48 hours in the case of post or at the time of transmission in the case of facsimile or email transmission.

10.3 These conditions and the Agreement to which they relate shall be governed and construed in accordance with the State of Western Australian and the Commonwealth of Australia

10.4 These conditions shall have priority over any quotation unless otherwise expressly agreed by TTB.

10.5 These terms will be deemed to be accepted by the client on the earlier of:-

  • payment by the client of any amount to TTB
  • signing and returning these conditions to TTB
  • The client’s continued instruction of TTB
